Flowerbed Mushrooms

Here in Texas this year we've had an abundance of rain...20 days in May, 19 days in June, and 5 days in July as of today with more in our forecast. So much so that I'm finding mushrooms growing in my flowerbeds!

At least we're avoiding our usual 100 degree summer weather.

Beautiful picture of the mushroom, and, of course, the rains in Texas have been in the news for some time. Now, in the Ozarks, where I live, things have been hot and extremely dry. Finally, the last couple of days, we've been getting some rain.

I'm new at blogging and looking for like minded blogger friends. I have enjoyed my visit here.
